We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of all members. It is important for all members, coaches, administrators and parents associated with the club to follow these guidelines. All players should behave respectfully towards club officials, captains, coaches, other club members and visitors to the club. Harassment of club officials, captains, and coaches, including the constant questioning of selection and in-game decisions will not be tolerated. The cricket committee will inform individuals if their behaviour is unacceptable and reserve the right to cancel membership without refund if their behaviour is considered to be so.
We take the protection of data that we hold about our members seriously and will ensure that the data provided to us in processed in accordance with data protection legislation.
The following ECB guidelines apply at Harrow Cricket Club for photography, video and changing rooms.
All people have a right to be safe and enjoy their cricket. All County Boards and Clubs therefore have a duty of care to all people participating in cricket to ensure their safety and welfare, to safeguard and protect them from reasonably foreseeable forms of harm.
The club is committed to ensuring that equality is incorporated across all aspects of its development. The club respects the rights, dignity and worth of every person and will treat everyone equally within the context of their sport, regardless of age, ability, gender, race, ethnicity religious belief, sexuality or social/economic status.
Everyone has the right to enjoy their sport in an environment free from threat of intimidation, harassment and abuse. The club will deal with any incidence of discriminatory behaviour seriously, according to club disciplinary procedures.
