about U17

Our U17 team plays in the Middlesex Junior Cricket Association (MJCA) West Area League. This is hardball cricket and players need to be hardball proficient and have their own full set of hardball cricket equipment in order to participate.


The MJCA has been organising cricket competitions for young people for over 50 years. Now over 15,000 boys and girls in London north of the Thames take part in their competitions. All member clubs must have ECB Clubmark accreditation.


All league matches are played home and away against other accredited clubs in the West Area. For us, this area primarily comprises the boroughs of Harrow and Hillingdon. U17 matches can take on different midweek days starting at 6pm. Matches are usually scheduled after the GCSE exams are over and therefore played at the end of June and beginning of July.
